3D2ACT was presented at the Event “Let’s go to the square… with the schools” in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, on the Occasion of Erasmus Days 2022

The event for the celebration of the Erasmus Days 2022 organized by the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete, entitled “Erasmus Days… Let’s go to the square… with the schools”, took place on Friday 14/10/2022 at Eleftherias Square, Heraklion, Crete, Greece, with great success.

In total, 31 schools and institutions from all over Crete, Greece, took part in the event and 42 projects implemented in the framework of Erasmus partnerships were presented. More than 600 people (teachers, students and citizens) visited the event and had the opportunity to watch the videos of the activities of the school partnerships, learn about the projects from the students and teachers themselves, watch the student music and art events and to participate in the workshops with the educational material of the European programmes of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete. Finally, on the sidelines of the event, two briefings were held on the content, key actions and specifications of the Erasmus KA1 & KA2 projects.

The contribution of the research partners of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete who participated in the event was very important. The University of Crete, the Hellenic Mediterranean University, the Institute of Technology & Research and the Panteion University were represented by professors and students who gave information about the content of the projects they are implementing together with the Pedagogical Teams of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete.

During the event, the 3D2ACT project was presented by the University of Crete (poster and project leaflets were distributed among visiting students). Visitors also had the chance to interact with a selection of 3D printed models (exhibition) and 3D printing demonstration (live demo).

The participation of the University of Crete at the event was also disseminated through the Erasmus Days website.
